The bell tube and inner are left completely original with the rim given a polished brass look see pictures video. Pads are new, corking and felts have been replaced where needed, the springs show very good response. Definitely a cool, unique looking tenor. The original case has been cleaned and is very sturdy with most hardware functioning properly one clasp slow to open.

Cosmetically, there are no dents remarkable for a 100 year old horn, couple of tiny dings, one re soldered post video, and beautiful patina. CONN New Wonder Chu-Berry Tenor Sax with Original Case and Vintage Olympian Mouthpiece. Further research found this horn to be a 1926 C.G. Sax Serial # I 178023.

I misspoke on the video when referred to this horn as a 1921 C.G.Conn. Custom Vintage C.G. The body tube, bow, keys, and key guards have been lightly clear lacquered to preserve the custom, brushed brass work patina. This custom tenor sax has been cleaned, re padded, and adjusted, plays very good from top to bottom with a clear, rounded tone on the included Olympian mouthpiece.
