Serial #M166. CG Conn Chu tenor saxophone, made in 1927, among the greatest years of saxophone manufacturing. Faded dark vintage re lacquer finish. Several re soldered posts, solid with no effect on the great sound of this sax.

Pads are mostly plastic done resonator type older than midlife with plenty of life left, and the horn is set up ready to play. This sax plays very easily with a strong sound and projection of edge. Two nicely made pitches on each side of the neck, solid work with no effect great sound this instrument.
